On October 24, 2024, Moscow will host key forums in the field of design, construction and operation of passenger terminals and airports:
V Eurasian International Forum Passenger Terminals - 2024.
XIII Eurasian International Forum Design, Construction and Operation of Airports - 2024.

The forums are the main professional industry platforms for exchanging experience, discussing architectural and technological trends, presenting innovations in the design, construction, reconstruction and operation of passenger terminal infrastructure, for discussing at the state and business level issues of improving the regulatory framework for the design and operation of passenger terminal infrastructure, as well as the integrated development of ports, railway stations and airports.

The forums are especially relevant within the framework of the new cycle of strategic planning for the development of transport infrastructure.

A fairly large number of ports and railway stations are planned to be built in the Eurasian region.

In the Russian Federation alone, funding in the amount of 4.8 trillion rubles is expected within the framework of the state program "Development of the transport system". The backbone network of sea ports, inland waterways and the Northern Sea Route will be modernized and developed. Unique infrastructure is planned to be developed, including the high-speed railway.

In terms of airport infrastructure in the Russian Federation and other countries of the Eurasian region. In the coming years, more than 200 airfields and other airport infrastructure, as well as a large number of landing sites, are planned for reconstruction in the EAEU and CIS countries alone.

As part of planning large-scale development projects, the industry community has a unique window of opportunity to improve regulatory and technical regulation, introduce legislative initiatives to form a more effective innovative image of the transport industry.

The V Eurasian International Forum Passenger Terminals - 2024 will be attended by representatives of federal authorities, general directors, deputy general directors in charge of construction and reconstruction, directors of construction and operation, technical directors and chief engineers, directors of strategic development of transport hubs, railway stations, bus stations and motor transport enterprises, river and sea passenger stations, airport passenger terminals, design organizations and suppliers of solutions for passenger terminals.

The forum will include: plenary and thematic sessions, round tables with the participation of international and Russian experts, presentations of innovative projects and solutions used in the design and operation of passenger terminals, an exhibition and presentation of new technologies and solutions, innovative materials, modern technology and equipment used in the design, construction, reconstruction and operation of terminals.

The XIII Eurasian International Forum Design, Construction and Operation of Airports - 2024 will be held on the same platform as the V Eurasian International Forum Passenger Terminals - 2024.

The XIII Eurasian International Forum "Design, Construction and Operation of Airports - 2024" is the main professional industry platform for the exchange of experience and presentations of new ideas and technologies from leading international and Russian experts, for discussion at the state and business level of all issues of improving the regulatory framework for the design of airports and airfields.

The following are invited to the forum and will take part: representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, state executive bodies of the Eurasian region, the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Autonomous Institution "Glavgosexpertiza of Russia", the Federal State Institution "Directorate of the State Customer for the Implementation of Integrated Transport Infrastructure Development Projects" (Rostransmodernizatsiya), the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Administration of Civil Airports (Aerodromes)", the Federal State Institution "Directorate for the Construction and Operation of Rosgranitsa Facilities" (Rosgranstroy), other government agencies, airport general directors and their deputies, technical directors and chief engineers of airports, heads and specialists of design organizations and architectural bureaus, suppliers of technologies and solutions, innovative materials, modern equipment and machinery used in the design, construction, reconstruction and operation of airports. The forum will discuss the most pressing topics, including issues of airport design and operation and innovative domestic industry solutions in the new conditions.

In particular, the issues of legislative regulation and state policy in the field of increasing the efficiency of airport design and operation, best international practices of master planning and pre-project studies, design, construction and operation of passenger and cargo terminals, airfields, landside areas and other airport infrastructure facilities will be discussed.

The event will present innovative technologies and solutions, as well as materials, machinery and equipment used in the design, construction, reconstruction and operation of airports, and a special session dedicated to airfields will be held.

A practical seminar "Modern approaches to pre-project studies and airport design" will be held for airports and regional authorities. The seminar will be conducted by leading experts of the Center for Strategic Research and the Center for Strategic Research of Civil Aviation, including issues of planning the volume of transportation, determining the design types of aircraft in the current changing conditions, planning peak loads on airport infrastructure facilities and airport areas, landside areas and multimodal solutions, including air-rail. The emphasis will also be on commercially efficient planning of terminals and infrastructure facilities. The seminar will cover the principles of airport area planning according to the international Aerotropolis and Airport City standards. The approaches and practical cases of the TSRT projects will be presented.

Additionally, the TSRT will consider new requirements and features of the justification for the inclusion of airport infrastructure in state financing programs at the practical seminar.

Also, several practical cases from among the airports being designed and built will be presented by different project groups.

Particular attention will be paid to the consideration of modern international and domestic construction technologies that can significantly reduce costs in terms of the construction of airfields, terminals and other airport infrastructure.

In total, more than 100 reports on the most relevant topics and cases with modern practical solutions will be presented at the Passenger Terminals - 2024 forum and the Airport Design, Construction and Operation - 2024 forum, which will be held at the same venue.

The forums are organized by the TSC and the AVIACENTER.

General information partner of the forums: the official printed organ of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – the newspaper “Transport of Russia”.

Effective development of a region's transport system requires a balanced strategy that in the short term, in 10, 20 and more years will provide the region with infrastructure, outrunning demand in terms of all modes of transport.
Many large world regions, leaders in transport product volume and transshipment, handling transit and transfer passengers, started out by creating a development strategy for multimodal transport hubs (MTH) based at promising ports, stations, and airports.
Many regions are geographically remote and located away from large transport hubs. They are characterized by poor land transport infrastructure and have many unique characteristics that implicate a peculiar approach to transport planning.
The TSC's areas of expertise include professional strategic planning in IT, development of innovative IT solutions for transport, tourism, transport engineering.
One of the core activities of TSC is the design and turn-key implementation of territory development projects for areas adjacent to transport infrastructure facilities.
The Transport Strategy Center Consortium (TSC) provides expert consulting assistance to regional authorities and transport organizations in developing comprehensive strategies for the development of transport infrastructure projects and attracting public and private funding for their implementation.
