3 important strategic decisions for the UAS industry TSC proposed at a meeting in the Federation Council  27.02.2025 17:20

At a meeting in the Federation Council, the Head of the TSC Anton Koren proposed:

To address issues with the systematization of UAS production and supply in response to demand in the interests of all regions of the Russian Federation, recommendations for the draft resolution:

1. Develop methodological recommendations for a full list of typical models of UAS application (up to 50 scenarios) in the interests of regional authorities.

2. Develop a methodology for strategic planning of UAS application in the regions taking into account the full list of typical application models.

3. Consider in approaches to strategic planning of UAS development in the regions the connection between application scenarios and the need for a fleet, ground infrastructure, and communications and navigation infrastructure.

Also at a meeting in the Federation Council, the Head of the TSC Anton Koren spoke about practical cases of marketing justification, design, and development of drone ports in the regions; cases from the practice of the Center for Strategic Research on UAS strategic planning in the regions were considered.

Among the interesting things at the meeting:

- Senator from the Amur Region Artem Sheikin announced the development of an international cross-border project for UAS flights between Russia and China.

- General Director of JSC GLONASS Alexey Raikevich reported that JSC GLONASS is ready to equip all UAS operators with an identification system in the near future. The technology is ready. Serial production has been established.

- Director of the Department of Digital Development and Data Economy of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Vladimir Voloshin told which EPRs will be extended to 2025 and which will not.

- Market leaders discussed approaches to the use of AI in the UAS industry (UZGA), presented investment solutions for the industry (Skolkovo Foundation), and much more.

Industry leaders will discuss modern approaches and develop solutions for UAS ground infrastructure on April 25 in Moscow at the international forum "Unmanned Aviation - 2025", registration at www.aviacenter.events.
