CONSORTIUM PARTNERS' NEWS. THE FORUM NETWORK. INTENSIVE NETWORKING SESSIONS AND NEW RECORDS SET
« BackOver 1000 prescheduled meetings, mainly among airports and airlines, were held during the NETWORK International Forum.
The Forum was hosted by Kazan International Airport – one of the modern airports of the Eurasian region.
Networking sessions were attended by key market players from the most western point of Europe – Airports of Portugal, to eastern boundaries of Asia – Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport, as well as by representatives from other world regions.
Successful negotiations during the meetings will allow to open new routes from airports of the Eurasian region.
Every forum delegate was able to hold any number of business meetings by scheduling them in advance using an innovative automated scheduling system.
Kazan International Airport has held the largest number of prescheduled meetings and some additional negotiations which count over 40.
Krasnoyarsk, Munich, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, Minsk airports were also proactive at the networking sessions.
A large number of meetings during special sessions was held by major airport groups Novaport (Russia) and ANA Airports of Portugal (Portugal), each of the two has held dozens of meetings with the Forum delegates.
Aeroflot, Pobeda, Air France KLM, Utair, Emirates, AZUR air, Uzbekistan Airways, Atlas Global are the airlines that have conducted the largest number of prescheduled meetings at the NETWORK Forum.
Some participating countries and regions do not yet have their own air carriers but are interested in opening new routes. Thus a representative of the African continent, Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the Russian Federation Jainaba Bah held a large number of business meetings during the NETWORK Forum with airlines of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the EAEU countries as well as with ministries of transport and tourism of Eurasian regions.
The NETWORK Forum was organized by the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER). Head of the Center Anton Koren stated: "The First NETWORK Forum was attended by over 350 industry professionals. Most of them represent airlines and airports. All the delegates marked the efficiency of the networking sessions, indeed the majority of participants have mentioned establishing new business contacts in air service development.
Noting the high demand for such a forum, we are going to organize it every year in different cities of the Eurasian region".
